Some photographers specialize in miniature photography, while others only discovered the fun of it during the pandemic.

Photographers are like magicians in this small small world that’s characterized by infinite possibilities. Through scene settings, or unique post-production techniques, what’s seemingly alien in real life can be made possible.

Japanese photographer Tanaka Tatsuya MINIATURE CALENDAR has been doing miniature art for almost 10 years. Through his lens, he hopes to recreate people’s imagination through the microscopic world, and brings fun to everyday life.

He makes use of objects or scenes most of us encounter, like broccolis, BBQ, remote controls, or masks. So no matter where you’re from, we can all surely relate.
